WHAT IS MomCo (Formerly MOPS)?
MomCo encourages and equips moms of young children to realize their potential as mothers, women and leaders, in relationship with Jesus, and in partnership with the local church.
MomCo is a grassroots movement that believes moms are world influencers. We also believe that incubating hearts and giving just-because hugs can change the course of history. That’s why we connect moms all over the world to a community of women, in their own neighborhoods, who meet together to laugh, cry and embrace the journey of motherhood.
A MomCo group is an open, accepting place for all mothers to experience authentic community, personal growth, practical help and spiritual hope.
Our MomCo group welcomes moms with kids of all ages.
WHEN DO WE MEET?
We meet the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month from 9:30am-11:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Parking and easy entrance for the Fellowship Hall is located behind the church.
HOW MUCH?
The fee for the 2023-2024 year are as follows:
$35 for MomCo membership with no childcare
$95 for MomCo membership and childcare for 2 or less children
$105 for MomCo memberships and childcare for 3 or more children.
Dues help cover the cost of MomCo International dues, gifts, crafts, meeting supplies and more. With both fees combined, MomCo meetings come out to less than $5 per meeting.
We don’t want finance to be a hindrance to moms so please contact us at mops@alivefc.org to discuss finance options, including scholarships.
WHAT TO EXPECT
BREAKFAST POTLUCK– Coffee, food and friends makes a great start to the morning!
CURRICULUM– Each meeting will have a topic to discuss through a live speaker or video provided by MomCo International.
FELLOWSHIP– Local mom friends to talk to, laugh with, share advice with, and relate to. You are not alone!
CRAFTS– Fun and easy crafts and activities even for those who think they are not crafty!
CHILDCARE PROVIDED– During meetings, your little ones will be cared for by amazing MOPPET volunteers in the church nursery. Your children will have snacks, Bible story, songs, craft/coloring, and playtime.
